Communications Specialists

Bill Boyd - Bill started in WVU Medical Command in October, 2006.  He got into EMS in 1981 and became a Paramedic in 1991.  He has worked with Wetzel County EMS, Marion County Rescue Squad and Monongalia EMS.

Rusty Doerr - Rusty came to WVU Medical Command in July 2007. He has been in Fire and EMS since 1981. Rusty became a Paramedic in 1985 and obtained his National Registry in 1987. Rusty was a Flight Medic with HealthNet 1 from 1990 until coming to MedCom.

Olan Leonard - Olan started in WVU Medical Command in June 2006.  He began his EMS career in 1992 with Harrison County EMS and Clay Eagle Ambulance Service.  He became a Paramedic in 1996.  Olan remains active with Harrison County EMS, Anmoore EMS and Salem Fire Department.  He is a Hazmat Technician and is a member of the regional response team as a medical officer and group leader.  He instructs CPR and PEPP and is a Homeland Security Instructor.  He teaches WMD Awareness and MCIM as well as Pediatric Disaster Life Support.

Donnie Lindsey - Donnie started at WVU Medical Command in March, 2005.  He is a Journeyman Firefighter in the State of West Virginia and is a career Firefighter Paramedic with the City of Bridgeport Fire Department.  He also works with the Marion County Rescue Squad and Monongalia EMS.  He became a Paramedic in 2001.  Donnie is a structural collapse technician and a Hazardous Materials Technician.  He graduated from WVU with a BS in Exercise Science.  He is currently pursuing his Masters in Healthcare Administration as well as his nursing degree.

Larry Payton- Larry started at WVU Medical Command in November of 2005.  He started in EMS in 1998 and became a Paramedic in 2001.  Larry has been with Fairview Fire Department EMS, Harrison County EMS and Monongalia EMS.

Michelle Riggs - Michelle started in WVU Medical Command in August of 2004.  She became an EMT in 1991 and became a Paramedic in 2001.  She is the chief of Granttown EMS and works part time with Monongalia EMS.

Becky Rosier - Becky started in WVU Medical Command in March, 2002.  She started EMS in 1986 and became a Paramedic in 1990.  She works with Tunnelton EMS.

Greg Selasky - Greg started in WVU Medical Command in 1989.  He graduated from Fairmont State University with a BS degree in 1988 and became a Paramedic in 1989.  He is currently attending AB College Physician Assistant Program and will be a MS-PAC Class of 2008. 

Dave Shields - Dave started in WVU Medical Command in November, 2005.  He started with the Grafton Fire Department in 1981 and got into EMS with Taylor County EMS in 1982.  Dave became an EMT in 1985 and worked with Marion County Rescue Squad.  He joined Valley Fire Department in 1985 and is currently Deputy Chief.  He became a Paramedic in 1995 and is a Hazardous Materials Technician.  He is certified in ACLS, BTLS and PEPP.

Ron Skidmore - Ron started in WVU Medical Command in August, 2005.  He started in the Fire Service in 1990 with the Junior Volunteer Fire Department and got into EMS in 1992 as an EMT with Belington EMS.  He became a Paramedic in 1999 and is currently with Monongalia EMS.  Ron graduated from WVU Parkersburg in 2006 and is currently Assistant Chief with the Star City Fire Department and is a Fire Service Instructor with WVU Fire Service Extension and RESA. 

Tony Teets - Tony started in WVU Medical Command in April of 1990.  He started in EMS in 1985 and became a Paramedic in 1987, volunteering in Preston County WV.  He was hired at Monongalia EMS in 1990 and is still a Paramedic for them.  Tony is on the WVRRT and WVUSAR teams.  

Richie Todd - Richie started in WVU Medical Command in February, 2007.  He has been in Fire and EMS since 1999.  Richie became a Paramedic in 2004, graduating from Fairmont State University with an AAS in EMS and a BS in Allied Health Administration.  He is Chief of Operations at Salem Fire Department for the EMS system and is Deputy Chief for the Volunteer Fire Department.
